Mark W. Roberts Mr. Roberts is also engaged in actions to reduce deforestation and forest degradation working at the UNFCCC, the World Bank and the Trans Pacific Partnership Free Trade Agreement negotiations. He has been appointed as a civil society representative to the Forest Carbon Partnership Facility and actively works as a CSO at the Forest Investment Program. Mr. Roberts practices environmental law in Boston, Massachusetts, where he founded the firm of McRoberts &Roberts, LLP and counsels clients on international environmental issues. He also provides long time clients with representation concerning renewable energy projects, brownfields redevelopment, and hazardous waste remediation.He litigated environmental cost recovery, wetlands and contaminated community cases. Mark is currently not accepting new clients to provide these types of services. Mr. Roberts regularly speaks and writes and speaks on legal, technical and policy issues related to climate change, control of greenhouse gases (particularly HFCs and ozone-depleting substances) and energy issues. He has written several published legal reviews on EIA’s proposed HFC phase-out, and other issues involving super greenhouse gases. |
